Change Placement Point In Place (Key-in only)

Used to change the placement point or points of a member or a selection set of members and correct the member line(s) such that resulting members are at the same location in space.

The Change Placement Point In Place tool is a key-in only tool. It can be used as an alternative to the placement point option in the Modify Structural Attributes which does not maintain members’ location in space.

Setting	Description
Placement point	Used to select a new placement point to apply to the members being modified.

Key-in: STFMODIFY PPINPLACE < 1 | 10 >

Tip: You can modify member placement points directly via key-in by using a key-in argument after the STFMODIFY PPINPLACE. Please refer to the placement point key-in equivalents on the table below.
